Description

Background. Scalped was pitched as a crime series on an Indian reservation and turned into a sixty issue novel about addiction, corruption and what people owe the place they come from. It is the run that made Jason Aaron's name before Marvel took him.

What's inside. Vol. 1 collects the first half, with art by R.M. Guera and others, oversized for the first time. Vol. 2 collects the second half, including The Gnawing and the final arc.

Why it's worth it. Guera's scratchy, mud coloured artwork is the whole tone of the book and it has never been printed this large. Very few crime series get to finish on their own terms; Scalped did, and the ending is why people keep recommending it fifteen years later. Both halves are in this pack.
