Description

Background. The second half of Lucifer moves from theology to consequence. The universe Lucifer built as a proof of concept now contains people, and the beings he refused to serve are no longer content to leave him alone.

What's inside. Collects Lucifer #36-75, the conclusion of Mike Carey's run, with art by Peter Gross, Ryan Kelly and others.

Why it's worth it. Long-running Vertigo series often ran out of road; this one did not. The final arc pays off a thread Carey planted seventy issues earlier, and the closing sequence is regularly cited alongside Sandman's own ending as one of the best in the imprint's history.
