Vol. 2 covers the Corps under war-scale pressure, spectrum politics and the cost of carrying a ring when every decision echoes outward.

Why it's worth it. Venditti wrote Green Lantern for six years, longer than almost anyone except Johns, and the run is one continuous argument about authority: who gets to police the universe, and what happens when the tool of that policing stops working. The two volumes are the whole of it.
