Marjorie Liu is an American novelist and comic book writer who wrote the first solo X-23 series at Marvel, giving the character a major standalone run exploring her identity apart from Wolverine. Liu also wrote acclaimed work on Astonishing X-Men. Her X-23 series is considered important reading for fans of the character who later took on the Wolverine mantle as Laura Kinney.
