Jeff Parker built his reputation on smart, character-first superhero comics that never sacrifice fun. He revived a forgotten corner of Marvel with Agents of Atlas, welding Golden Age leftovers, Jimmy Woo, Namora, Marvel Boy, Gorilla-Man, M-11, into one of the most beloved cult teams of the 2000s. He later reshaped the Hulk mythos, humanising the Red Hulk and turning Thunderbolts into sharp ensemble drama.
