Description

Background. Between the late 1980s and early 1990s, David Michelinie and Mark Bagley formed one of the longest-running and most popular creative teams on Amazing Spider-Man. Michelinie was already one of the title’s key writers, and Bagley joined as the regular artist at a time when the character was at the height of his commercial success. Together, they established Venom as Spider-Man’s primary antagonist in the 1990s and created Carnage, one of the publisher’s most popular villains.
