Scott Snyder and Charles Soule use the Green, the Rot and the Red to make Swamp Thing feel connected to a living cosmology rather than a simple monster-hero premise. This should point to Swamp Thing, not Constantine: the identity is Alec, the Green and the nightmare growing around him.
