Joye Murchison

Joye Murchison, also known as Joye Hummel, holds a singular place in comics history: she was the first woman to write Wonder Woman. Hired in the 1940s as an assistant to the character's creator, William Moulton Marston, she took over the scripting when Marston fell ill, ghost-writing many Golden Age Wonder Woman stories that appeared under his name.
