David S. Goyer
David S. Goyer is best known in Hollywood — the Blade trilogy, Christopher Nolan's Batman films, Man of Steel — but in comics his most important work is co-creating the modern revival of the JSA. With James Robinson and later Geoff Johns, he relaunched the Justice Society in 1999 and shaped its early direction.
His writer's instinct for structure and pacing gave the early JSA its momentum, balancing the nostalgia of legacy heroes with modern event-driven storytelling across arcs like "Justice Be Done" and "The Return of Hawkman." In omnibus form, his contribution to this major run is collected alongside Johns'.
