Bob Layton

Bob Layton co-wrote the Iron Man run that defined Tony Stark as a character for decades. His work with David Michelinie produced Demon in a Bottle — the first major superhero addiction story — and Armor Wars, which remains the template for every "technology out of control" Iron Man story since. These two arcs alone justify the omnibus. Layton also co-created the Armor Wars concept that the MCU has returned to repeatedly.
