The books begin turning worldbuilding into pressure: Mystique and the Quiet Council, mutant diplomacy, X-Force security failures, the magical border around Otherworld and the first signs that paradise has procedures, secrets and enemies. It is a continuation volume, but a useful one because it shows the new X-Men status quo becoming operational.
