Deadpool —Wade Wilson— is the Merc with a Mouth. Created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza in 1991 as a parody of Deathstroke, he has become one of the best-selling franchises in modern Marvel. He breaks the fourth wall, makes fun of everything, and has starred in key story arcs written by Joe Kelly, Gail Simone, Daniel Way and Gerry Duggan.
