Tomeu Morey

Tomeu Morey is a Spanish comic colorist whose work is closely tied to modern DC. His coloring is known for vibrant, high-contrast palettes and controlled lighting that give superhero pages depth and mood — a look most recognizable across recent Batman, Green Lantern and Justice League comics. As a colorist his name sits behind the pencillers he partners with, but his choices shape how these books read on the page.

Much of his defining work appears in DC hardcover omnibus editions. He is associated with major modern Batman storylines, with Green Lantern, and with Justice League and Detective Comics runs — the kind of high-profile titles DC collects into large-format omnibus volumes. When those collections are assembled, his coloring is a core part of the finished art.

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps by Robert Venditti Omnibus Vol. 1

This Vol. 1 gathers the launch of Robert Venditti’s Rebirth-era run and its lead-in miniseries into a single hardcover, following the Green Lantern Corps from near-oblivion back to full strength. Freed from the pocket universe, Hal Jordan and the reborn Corps confront Sinestro, who has imposed his yellow Sinestro Corps light on the universe, then hunt Larfleeze and search for the missing Saint Walker across the Sinestro’s Law, Bottled Light and Prism of Time arcs. The volume defines the Green Lantern status quo of the Rebirth line and pairs directly with the earlier Green Lantern by Robert Venditti Omnibus.
