Ted McKeever
Ted McKeever is a fiercely independent auteur whose expressionist, high-contrast art and surreal storytelling made him a lasting cult figure. Across Transit, Eddy Current, Metropol, Plastic Forks and Industrial Gothic he built dense, allegorical worlds far outside superhero convention, drawing everything himself in a jagged, unmistakable line.
His major works are gathered in collected hardcover editions: Metropol assembles his apocalyptic angels-and-demons epic, while Eddy Current and Plastic Forks show his dream-logic narratives at their strangest and most personal. Later Image projects such as Miniature Jesus and The Superannuated Man round out a body of work that never once chased the mainstream.
