What's inside. Collects SHIELD #1–6 and SHIELD vol. 2 #1–6 (). Art by Dustin Weaver, whose intricate, architecture-heavy style is important to the series' sense of hidden depth and ancient conspiracy. Follows Leonid and his discovery of the Brotherhood of the Shield across centuries.

Why it's worth it. One of the most visually ambitious series Marvel published in the 2010s. Weaver's artwork rewards close reading — every page contains hidden detail and historical reference. Hickman's puzzle-box storytelling is at its most elaborate here. important for fans who want Marvel at its most conceptually daring.
