Duncan Fegredo
Duncan Fegredo is a British artist with a loose, energetic brush line and a real gift for folklore, monsters and mood - looser and more organic than Mike Mignola's angular geometry, yet able to carry the same gothic weight. His storytelling is fluid and dramatic, built for myth and horror rather than clean superheroics.
His landmark work is Hellboy, where Mignola handed him the art on the pivotal arcs Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt and The Storm and the Fury, now gathered in the Hellboy omnibus program. Earlier he drew Enigma and Kid Eternity for Vertigo, cementing a reputation for smart, adult, image-driven comics that reward close reading.

For a collector, a Fegredo Hellboy omnibus is essential: it holds the epic that pushed Hellboy toward his mythic destiny, drawn by the artist Mignola trusted to escalate it. If you are building the Hellboy library in oversized hardcover, his volumes are a core part of the run and a showcase of expressive, atmospheric linework.
